Apologies netizens for this late entry... i was kept busy with school assignments and preoccupied with some other stuffs for the past 2 weeks, thus having no time to update this blog of mine. Dated back on 6th November, i went on a learning journey with my uni class. We reached our destination early in the morning. While waiting for all to arrive, my clique and i were busy snapping away right in front of Victoria Memorial Theatre. It's nice having Victorial Memorial Hall as the background. With famous Sir Stamford Raffles statue standing behind us...
Nice shots captured with vivian for the day! I always love taking photos under the sun because somehow it makes one's face appear flawless in these photos.
That's with Shu wen & Shu hui!
oOps just realized i've forgotten to take a photo with ling here. Well, but we do have our full clique photo taken with Sir Stamford Raffles, haha.
Along the way, we stopped over at different sites. We were told about the different history sites in Singapore. There was a story behind each of them. For once, i feel as though i'm like a tourist. Fancy having lived in Singapore almost near to 20 years, i'm rather clueless towards the history of my own country. (i'm not a history student, tsktsk!) However, given my short attention span when it comes to the talk on history stories behind Singapore, my attention was easily turned to something else in our vicinity, haha! Frankly speaking, the one thing that i'm anticipating right from the start is the tea time break at yakun whereby we'll get to savour traditional coffee/tea and toast bread.
Still, i paid attention to some parts which interest me...
BREAK TIME! Time to chill @ Yakun:)
As we moved from one site to another, i captured some nice captivating shots along the way. Below are the ones...
My friends feel that this photo doesn't look like it's somewhere in Singapore. It looks more like England though... If only...
Guess where was this taken?
Right outside of yakun.
The whole learning journey took about 3 hours plus from morning till noon. Soon after that, me and my classmates proceeded to a nearby shopping mall for lunch. We went into this Japanese ramen restaurant and there we have a variety of side dishes (as you can see from below pictures) and shared a bowl of AKA Ramen among 7 peeps. Personally, i feel that the side orders are only so-so, well but as for that bowl of ramen, it tastes good. i love its ramen soup!
Here's a photo of our small class. There are still few other classmates seated at the other table...
CHEERS!!!
