It was hell loads of fun last Thursday. We've got activties lined up for us from morning till late evening with different groups of companions. Early morning, the trio met up for movie at GV Plaza Sing. I've got the priviledge to purchase 1-for-1 movie ticket during my birthday month 'for i'm a Golden Village member. With this fantastic offer given to me, i extended out my invitation to wk and sok. Together, we proceeded down to Plaza Sing to catch the 11.30am show- *HELLO STRANGER*! It has been ages since we last watched a movie together. The very last one was *Alvin and the chipmunks*. And that was quite some time ago...
We boarded bus 190 and headed down to plaza sing. We reached our destination on the dot and soon after purchasing the tickets at the counter, wk went to buy nachos cheese munchies.
Our row numbers.
*HELLO STRANGER* is a thai movie. BUTTT, it has got both english and chinese subtitles so you don't have to worry that you can't make sense out of the entire show. To me, i feel that it is a nice, touching romance movie with some comical essence. Though a hilarious show, some parts are really touching when both the female and male lead come together. Sparks Fly* I shall not reveal too much of it here! By the way, the male lead is kinda' good-looking and he's a funny chap inside the movie. You know something, throughout the whole show, we've still yet to know their names in the movie 'for as the movie title goes: "HELLO STRANGER", haha!
As the synopsis goes:
A love story about two strangers who know nothing about each other and fall in love.
He is a football fanatic, videogame nerd, social butterfly, comic lover, tired of love stories and a cynic of love while she is Korean soap opera fan, beef lover, devout radio station listener, avid book reader, and homebody. Together, they are perfect strangers who will travel, eat, share a room, and talk about anything and everything including each others top secrets.
Soon after movie, Sok got to rush down to meet her secondary school friends. Wk and me continued with our own activities for the day. Firstly, he accompanied me down to some ulu places in Chinatown to collect movie tickets 'for i've won 4 narnia in season tickets by InSing. It was difficult finding our way there but we managed to get the tickets at the end. Thank you wk for your company. After that long search and we finally got hold of our tickets, we went on to settle down at a dian xin restaurant, somewhere in Chinatown to have a tea time break. This dian xin restaurant recommended by him is simply terrific! Love the egg tarts and the fried shrimp dumplings to the max!!!!! The thought of it now simply makes one drool. Anddd we've yet to try their claypot which also seems good.
You have my guarantee! This restaurant seriously sells yummilicious dian xin. You've got to savour. The photos alone are appealing, don't you agree?!
we've also got koi to pamper ourselves under this hot weather.
That is not the end to it. Towards late afternoon going to evening time, we met up with another group of companions, our seniors (eileen & michelle)!!! Michelle is finally back from Aussie, not permanent stay here but just for a short summer break. She's flying back soon next week. Still, we're glad we get to have this rare opportunity to meet up with her. Thanks eileen for informing us that she's back! And yet again, it's FOOD!!!! we just love to pamper ourselves and indulge in different varieties of foodiessss!!!! The next stop was Soup spoon.
I recommend you the chicken soup here in Soup spoon! It is the best among the rest we've ordered. Inside the soup, it has got lots of tender chicken chunks and it seems like there's no end to it!
And nowwww it's CAM-WHORE TIME!!!
eileen and me
How could we have missed out taking photos with the seniors when we don't often see them? Definitely phototaking is a MUST here! haha.
As we continued to walk along Orchard, we chanced upon this christmas tree right outside Ion Orchard! A good time for another cam-whoring session! The bling bling christmas tree makes a nice background during the late evening. Anddd coincidentally that day, my friends and i bumped into 陈罗密欧 at Ion Orchard. He's one of the finalists in the Star Search Competition in case you guys don't know who he is, lol.
It was a nice session out with the seniors. Hope to meet up with the seniors once again after the next semester for there is always laughters, joys and fantastic memories left behind when we are with them!
CDS simply rocks! It brings us all together! Common Dreams Shared♥♥♥
That's for now.
