Life has never get any better ever since the commencement of this semester. With increasing workloads each day, it's almost impossible for you to continue slacking any further. Unlike the previous semester when i almost led a carefree life in school, this semester is a huge difference. Year two's workloads are much more demanding and overwhelming. Worst still, the modules taken this semester have lots of contents for you to digest and before you knew it, report assignments, presentations are nearing datelines! How on earth can we have sufficient time to accomplish our tasks within such a short time frame?!? Seriously, this is not a good life.
Fast paced, stressful and hectic lifestyle.
This is part of our curriculum and there is no way we can avoid. No doubt the journey is going to get tougher, but we just have to hang on there and give one another the support. Things will be fine as you go on. I've just completed my first presentation for AED201 module. I think my group did ok for most of our audiences were engaged in our Amazing Race activity. On the flip side of the coin, there were also some flaws pointed out by one or two audiences which my group has overlooked. Seriously speaking, given the time constraint as we were the first group to present, it's kind of rush to complete everything perfectly within a week. I guess we did our best. Prof said he'll take into consideration we're the first group to present and maybe be a little more lenient. i hope so. Still, overall it was not too bad a start. Anddd finally one is down!Amidst all these stress, i'll find my own ways to de-stress. You have to balance your life and not just spend your time solely on studying. i believe most of your out there will agree this fact with me. For myself, i'm always glad i have wonderful friends as companions on a weekend night. For once, i'll forget all my troubles and stress when with them.
Cravings for desserts? You can go for a try for this tiramisu at ambush! sweet sensations! Tiramisu indulgence.
And with my all-time favourite there, the wild salmon shell pasta served with thai basil sauce. This is my strong recommendation there. Especially the thai basil sauce; it's very appetizing. Especially if you're a salmon-lover as well...You won't resist the temptation to order a second time during your next visit! erm, but i guess i will go for a new menu dish during my next trip there. i have an urge to try their bratswurt sausage.
So, here i am, going to run through a whole collection of photos from yesterday's k-session. Vivian is always an efficient photo uploader. i can always blog very soon the next day after our outing. (*laughs*) Speaking of our outing, this is so far our very first clique outing for this semester. To be exact, an official one. For those who have been following my blog, you would have seen familiar faces of my clique peeps in earlier entries tagged with birthday celebration. For the previous few months of this semester, we were also having fun together, but its more towards birthday surprises and celebration rather than an outing. Even if there is, we were busy shopping away for presents, haha...
Oh no, i just realized i didn't capture any photo together with shu wen. i'm still waiting for the full clique photo in her camera:)
Awwwww! Screams* First rhetoric paper is down and with the second one (Reading in Children's Literature) which is also the last one coming thursday, we'll be exam-free for this semester. The second semester is coming to an end soon; time flies... Loads of fun are awaiting us during this upcoming holiday. i'm very looking forward to the june period which is going to be the most happening part of my holiday if everything goes all well as planned. My friends and I have long made plans for a short holiday trip to bangkok during this coming june period. we've even gotten the flights and hotel booked in advance. However, we know that bangkok is in a chaos state currently and definitely we would not want to take the risk. i do hope that we can successfully change to another destination; chaos-free. Perhaps we may consider some sight-seeing, scenery-captivating places or nice beach areas in other countries.
