it seems like a mini minds cafe though...

Sometimes you don't have to go minds cafe or decoder's cafe for boardgames with your friends. You can easily have one at your own comfortable home! haha. Guess what, me and my flowers clique just did that yesterday. We planned for this outing quite some time ago, and soon it was the arrival of the day. Venue was at my house and they brought along different boardgames. With the intial intention to have boardgames and playstation games for us to spend our day with, we managed to stick to this plan without fail. cheerios:) it was fun. We started off with playstation games like bishi bashi, dance dance revolutions and king of fighters. Bishi bashi is interesting because you can involve up to maximum 8 players each time. The more the merrier...it's like competing with one another during each round and there's a lot of fun in it. i taught them some of the tactics in it, haha... ling is good at king of fighters! Her chosen character, Jhun defeated our characters during the few rounds. You can really fight man! Everyone has their strength in different games. Vivian and Shuwen are better at dancing game:)
Just 'gotten the photos from vivian at facebook and i'm gonna upload them here. she's sooo efficient!
Halfway through the games, our attentions were diverted to this blue wall background in my room. Decided to take photos with vivian's digital camera. Love the background behind us. The photos taken are very clear. nice complexion too...

And so, we had a few different poses. A pity carrie couldn't join us for the day, if not we would have a complete 6 flowers pose!

With the lovely cute doggie:D
Some of the games played at my house...
Evening time, we ordered pizza hut delivery for dinner. There's this CHRISTMAS STARLIGHT FEAST which is quite a worth deal. Also, we added on side dishes like spicy drumlets and garlic bread. Very filling dinner indeed...
By the way, earlier on i went youtube to search for this single ladies song by the lovely chipettes in season two of Alvin and the chipmunks movie. Love the song when i first heard it in the movie that i've watched the day before. So i 'gonna upload this video here!
i'm the single ladies...

Season two of Alvin and the chipmunks is back again during this festive season. This time round, the movie sequel introduces the chipmunks female counterparts, the chipettes. You ought not to miss this show! Be it the chipmunks or chipettes, they're equally lovely! i jus feel like cuddling one back home (laughs)...

SPLASH SPLASH

Has been ages ever since i last swam. i tink i barely swim more than 5 times in a year. Yesterday i went swimming with deborah n ruiping at Civic Service Club. We'll a bit pissed off when we reached there about morning 10plus 'cause the pool was closed when it's supposed to be opened given the stated operating hours there. We ended up waiting for one hour plus before the swimming pool was opened. lt was then twelve noon and we ended up sacrificing our American pool due to insufficient time. Initially we planned to have american pool after our swim and after which head down to bugis for evening steamboat. Perfect plan. but in the end, we only managed to have the swim and steamboat.

Well, not that bad...i had loads of fun with them in the pool yesterday. CSC is a great swimming place. Love the quietness of the environment there. Kind of bringing one closer to the nature for the swimming pool is surrounded by lots of trees.

Here's a picture of me and deb in the pool. Having a whale of time...

we're trying to capture some shots in the pool. ruiping was the photographer. You can see in this above shot where i was jumping right behind deb. This movement was really tiring...Had to use my strength and push myself off deb's shoulder. And also not forgetting to show our big white darlie teeth to the cam. Indeed tiring for both parties but we like the final turnout of this photo. nice

A nice view of CSC's swimming pool!

(More photos are now up on my facebook so i shan't upload all of them here.)

lt was refreshing having bathed after the swim and we headed down to bugis for steamboat right after that. Deb recommended us this F & J Cafeteria, a steamboat place along beach road. i have never been there before and it's only then did i realise that there's another part to it in bugis. Usually i would have overlooked that stretch of road with yummy delicacies. And now i know, there's this Ah Chew's dessert, Ramen steamboat and many more. Shall go try the desserts there one day.

STEAM, COOK AND EAT IT HOT!

Watermelon competition?!?!

Of course not! Just having some fruits for better digestion after a filling steamboat...

The later part of the day was more on our massive phototakings in this INTERCONTINENTIAL place that we went in to explore. Oh my goodness, it is such a grand place and i do feel that we're in some kind of royal empire, haha. Luxurious life in there... (though not ours) well, at least we have been there once...

And also not forgetting to thank the ahas for getting me this wireless mouse as my birthday present. loves

The Ahas has always been one of my cliques ever since secondary school. we have known each other near to 5 years. This clique name of ours came unknowingly, but unique. Enjoy their company during each and every aha's outing. Though we didn't really get to meet up that often compared to those days back in secondary school, still, we would try to meet up during the holidays and on special occasion such as individual's birthday. A pity dororin couldn't join us for steamboat 'cause she was busy. i believe there will still be chance where we will get to come out together as a whole clique.

Speculation

i don't understand why on earth would people resort to stealing. What's the rationale behind it? The sense of satisfaction that you're looking for, simply for novelty and excitement? Wouldn't one possibly have that sense of guilt if he/she has committed it? i surmise that one ought to have the maturity to be able to think and differentiate between the right and wrong at this age. lf you're really the one who is doing this, please stop. i would advise you. i wouldn't want to make any accusations right at this moment for i do not have any evidence. And it is not right for me to point fingers at anyone now...But somehow, it's causing our suspicion. if it's you, own up, and we shall let bygones be bygones...
To err is human, to forgive; divine.

I ♥ my day!

lt's always great to have them as companions. Love my dear sisters and every outing of ours. Always, we have endless stuffs to talk about and ever since those days in cds, we dancers bonded well together and came up with this 4 sisters identity. A pity luojia couldn't join us for 13th december's outing for she has gone back to china. Anyway she told me that she'll be back probably after 3rd of march and i hope to see her once again.

Without further ado, i shall fill you guys in with our wonderful day on the 13th of december! lnitially, there were few ideas in mind of what we should do for this day. lt's a rare opportunity for us to meet up together once again, especially with kerong for she was busy a couple of months ago with her A levels. And now it's over, congrats to you! Have loads of fun during the next 8 months of holiday, kerong! Definitely for this day, we ought to plan and line our day up with something great! We went to bugis TOP ONE and sang to our hearts' content. The k-session was from 11am to 6pm. Voice almost went hoarse after singing some really high songs like "恋爱-ing", "第一天", "Revolution" continuously. Nonetheless, it was superb and you can imagine the fun we had during the 7 hours of singing! Rock and roll.

Shall let my photos do the talking...

HIGH翻天!!! 大家都尽情唱着,当然也少不了拍照留念...

BLING BLING CHRISTMAS TREE!!!

It's not the end after our k-session. We went to walk walk and explore during evening time. Bugis is already in the festive mood. We saw christmas tree right in the middle of bugis junction. Many were taking photos with this huge white christmas tree. The centre of attraction...yea, and we took some shots with this bling bling christmas tree. Had to trouble one kind lady to help us take a complete photo of the christmas tree with the three of us in it. lt's hard to do so by yourself for the christmas tree is too big to be captured within your own camera phone without the help of others. Kerong also took some candid shots of us...i love the turnouts of our photos with this christmas tree. We even had different poses and different angle shots that made the whole phototaking a much more interesting and artistic one! How creative can we be, haha...

Guess what, we saw an even nicer christmas tree inside bugis shopping mall as we walked on... Decorated with bling bling accessories by sookee jewellery; how lovely♥
Soon, evening arrives and it slowly marks the end of our day. Kind of reluctant to leave for we rarely have the opportunity to meet up just like that day. Perhaps we should try and plan more sisters outing during this holiday...And indeed, we did. The next one up would probably be basketball game, a healthy and budgeted sport, somewhere near our area.
i'm looking forward to it...

Sweet Temptations

Sweet Temptations

Lately, i had a lot of sweet delights, especially during this december month 'cause it is my birthday and my friends bought me cakes during celebration.

Earlier on, i went with joyce to jurong point after our lunch with sok at holland village. With the initial intention to shop, we ended up in bakerzin for a high tea session instead (laughs). Ordered strawberry shortcake and sweet pleasure from bakerzin. Sweet pleasure is my best recommendation there. Love it! And also, you just simply have to add on 1.90 for either a hot or cold drink. Perfect combination for a filling high tea in a nice ambience restaurant. lt was such a coincidence to see cindy there. As she is the teamleader staff there, she gave us discounts for our cakes just now. How GREAT! Maybe we should pick another day when she's there and dine in again (laughs). joking.

i have a sweet tooth and i love all these sweet delights. How wonderful would that be if i'm able to make them one day for myself! Maybe should try baking cakes one of these days...or even cookies?

WOW!Orchard Heeren, our clique outing!

l was surprised and touched yesterday when my flowers clique celebrated my birthday by giving me a surprise @ pasta waraku. They bought me a tiramisu cake but hid it intially. While i was accompanying vivian to the toilet, they secretly lighted the candle on the birthday cake and sang me happy birthday song when i came back! i was shocked. Thank you gals:D Appreciate their efforts.

These were what we had at pasta de waraku. l like my spaghetti alla bolognese. The egg on it looks cute. As for the salmon and mushroon pizza which i've ordered, the crust wasn't that crispy and it is below standard, so i don't really like it. We also shared an additional side dish, sth like a seafood platter. Love the fried prawns:)
After a heavy lunch, we went to shop at orchard. Along the way, we were fascinated by this giganti LV bag outside ngee ann city. It's really HUGE! You can see from the photos that we appeared really small in front of the LV bag, tsk tsk.
Wonder how much effort was put into making this LV bag...A pity shu wen left early if not she'll witness this as well...

i didn't buy anything back from orchard, perhaps not in a shopping mood that day...

By the way, we've also planned for our next clique outing. ALERTING ALL FLOWERS! On the 27th, venue will be my house!

6th of December

Farewell to 18
(delayed post)

l'm OFFICIALLY 19 right now! Time passed fast, in the blink of an eye, the arrival of my 19th birthday is here. On the day itself, i went out with my friends for pool and bowling. Initally we intended to play basketball somewhere near joyce's house. In the end, there was a change of plan and we switched to indoor sports at CDANS country club and CSC. My companions for that day were sok, weikiat, deb and ruiping.

Bowling was fun, but pool was even better:) Recently, i'm kind of addicted to pool. Proposed playing pool to them after one game of bowling. Sadly, there wasn't any pool in CDANS, hence we have to make our way to another country club (CSC).

A pity joyce couldn't join us on that day. Below are the pictures captured!

The greys, black and white...(like our colour dresscode)

We're @ Starbowl! Many were having bowling competition among themselves. It was an eye-opening because you can easily see "strikes" and "spares" during each throw of theirs...wonder whether there will be a day where we can also be professional players like them:)

lt seems really cool if you're one!

And this was our final score. Congrats to weikiat, emerging as the top player among us. We just need more practice. Practice Makes Perfect!

Before proceeding off to CSC for pool, we took photos in Cdans country club. Found this spiral staircase which is a good and nice place for phototaking. Cute Sok

Pool rocks!

Soon, night falls...we went to KFC for dinner at westmall. Weikiat, the drama king was imitating the actions of some our drama peeps which made us all burst into laughters. He's really observent towards his surrounding people. The way he imitate jingyi was really funny. Well, it was all meant to entertain us during dinner(laughs). So people, do not feel offended! You guys know he's a JOKER!:) We reminisced about those days back in cds and how i wish i could once again return back to the stage and act...

The Twilight Saga: New Moon (04.12.09)

Bit disappointed with this movie when i watched it with rachel yesterday. l felt that the story plot of twilight in the movie was nicer, but still, i like the characters (Edward Cullen, Bella, Jacob) Always love romance show since young and i definitely would not want to miss this Twilight Saga: New Moon which is screening on the 3rd of december. Actually, they do have some sneak previews before that which commenced on the 26th of November. Initially me and rachel intended to catch a twilight movie marathon of series one and two at Bishan's cinema which cost 24 bucks, accompanied with free popcorns and drinks. In the end, decided to give up this plan for it's rather expensive.

I wanna read this fantasy-romance novel (new moon) by author Stephenie Meyer during my leisure times...My brother had collection of all four books (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn) and he finished reading all?!? OMG! i'm gonna borrow it from him...

Speaking of story books, it has been long ever since i last sat down to read books the whole day. I've a few books in mind which i would like to read it during this semester break of mine. Books like "The Sister's Keeper", " New Moon" etc... (Who has My Sister's Keeper?)

Surprises

During the later part of the day, when me and rachel went orchard after our movie, i was caught by surprise when i bumped into jiaqi right outside the big O restaurant in paragon. By chance OR...?!?(laughs) It was actually premeditated by them. Appreciate their efforts:) And Thank YOU for celebrating my birthday with me in advance and the dinner treat at Chicago's steakhouse.

It was indeed a sumptuous & filling dinner treat by rach and jiaqi!

Not forgetting jenna as well, who gave me a small cutie soft toy as my birthday present.

K- PooL
So, what's for the night?!? Rachel suggested going for pool at cineleisure. No objection to it 'cause i'm kinda missed playing pool too.

A pity jiaqi left early, so i didn't manage to capture our full photos together.

Great time spent with them that friday. The whole day was lined up with activities with new moon, shopping for rach's shoes @ orchard, birthday celebration & surprises as well as k-pool. i'm kinda addicted to pool now and i'm soon going to play wf rach once again this coming thursday.

Love ya besties, hope to see your soon for our next outing:)

Thumbs Up

2012 prophecy The End Is Just The Beginning!

"2012" is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivor. This phenomenal and spectacular entertainment, directed by the director of the day after tomorrow and with cast crews like John Cusack, Amanda Peek, Chitwetel Ejiofor etc.

Two days ago, i went to watch this high-rated show with my brother at lot 1's shaw cinema. This was the second movie that we've watched this month. A couple of weeks ago, actually accompanied him to watch Michael Jackson's "This is it" Definitely for me, I prefer "2012" to "This is it". Not sure for him. 2012 is indeed a very exciting two and a half hrs' show. Trust me, you ought not to miss this show. Seriously, if this prophecy of the end of the world in 2012 is real, i wouldn't dare imagine how the whole world will turn out to be...

Thumbs up for this show and i would like to recommend to those who have not watched it. The next BIG SHOW that i'm looking forward to is "The Twilight Saga: New Moon". Looking forward to seeing Edward Cullen, Bella and Jacob on the big screen. 'Gonna watch it with rachel this coming friday!

Vivo + Ajisen @ LOT 1

It's been quite some while since i went somewhere far with my family. Back in the past, family outing on saturday is a norm. Ever since i started work after A lvls, i couldn't join them every sat and i really miss those family outing days... Thankful for the public holiday last fri, we went to vivo city, somewhere further from our usual hangouts. If i didn't remember wrongly, i've only been to vivo twice till date ever since its opening. The very first visit there was also with my family. I did not really buy anything back during friday's visit, except treated myself to a blackforest ice-blended coffee from coffeebean. Specially like coffee from starbucks and coffeebean. Once again, the aroma and the taste is back...

Dad showed me and brother the constructions of Singapore's first casino at Sentosa which is going to be opened next year and that's visible from vivo city. It's just across the sea. Casino on this small island, Sentosa. If given a chance, i would love to visit the casino, not to gamble but to explore:)

We stayed at vivo for few hours and proceeded to lot 1 after that. Mum and Dad had an in advance birthday celebration for me by treating me to Ajisen. They always treat me and my brother to good meals during our birthdays and i really appreciate that...
Introduced them to this spciy cha-soo ramen at Ajisen and we also ordered white fish and chicken wings as our side dishes. Love the spicy cha-soo ramen soup, and also not forgetting the chicken wings.
The crispiness and the tender meat simply makes it mouth-watering. Trust me, you just can't stop at one...

Unwind yourself

23.11.09
This was captured during our kbox session straight after exams. Decided to upload it on my blog now since i've started one. The exam period is always the most torturous days that we have to overcome. Still remember during that crucial and stressful period, I just cooped myself at home, do constant mugging...And me and my friends sweared that after the last lit paper, we gonna let our hair down and play as much as possible before the arrival of next sem. On the 23rd, I went to safra kbox with them and sang to my heart's content. The k session was from 3pm to 9pm. Thanks to weihao who recommended this singing place. Seriously I've have no idea that the place is so near to jurong point. Just a 199 ride out from our school. Convenient... Had loads of fun with my class peeps that evening and we were saying that we're gonna have another one if time allows.
I know that there will be more fun awaiting...
(Looking forward towards my overseas trip:D)

HellO peeps

hi ALL, NICE TO MEET YOU!

Back then, I used to think that blogging is so much a hassle. Designing it alone will almost take up half of my day given a computer "schmuck" like me. How you go about selecting the right template which suits your liking, tagboards, adding music to your blog...Just one word that I would say- complicated! Not to say managing your own blog every now and then...its only till the start of this year when I've decided to start out a friends' blog together with two of my besties. We owed it to one of our seniors who has given us the assistance we needed most. Till date, i'm satisfied with our ehs's blog. It keeps track of our memories... This is the part I like best and will continue to maintain it:) Currently, I'm still in love with blogging, and now I've decided to take a second challenge by creating a blog of my own.

i'm done with it and this is my Sanguinity blog. Nice to meet you guys...
