DRAMA PLAY

i went down to alliance francaise de singapore to support my friends' drama play yesterday. lt was put up by ngee ann stage art group. lt has been quite some while ever since i last watched a drama play. Back then in my junior college days, i watched countless drama plays since i was from chinese drama society. Thinking of it now, i misses my acting life. Kinda envy my two friends, vivian and pei ling for given the opportunity to act again. How i wish i can return back to stage life once again... Those drama days were my most memorable days in my two years' junior college life.

(vivian just tagged me with the photos on fb and i can blog again:D)

oOps, where's pei ling?

And a complete clique photo now:) The STARS for the day were VIVIAN and PEI LING!!! the two gals dressed in yellow (easily spotted)

Among the three shows put up by their stage art group, i love the story plot of 《一条绳》and
《烙印》. Nice name given to individual play. 《烙印》reminds me of my syf play back in 2007; it revolves around the criminals' lives and how they got themselves into jail. Each scene portrayed individual's sad story... Back then, my syf play was known as 《窗外》, haha.
i met jieying there, not so much of a coincidence, for i already knew that she will be going down to support as well.

if given a chance, i would very much love to go back to acting life again...

SNAPSHOTS
(some photos for thought)

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE!

i'm really good at maintaining my posture, not even batting an eyelid. lf you're observant enough, you will come to realize only sok changes her facial expression each time. Me and wk simply remain still in these four shots. Editing photos is fun; i actually came up with a theme for it after that: "Spot The Difference". (*laughs*)

i love the design of my bag. The frappe drink and my star bag blend well in this photo.

Just some recent photos of mine to share here. Shall keep you guys updated a lil of how i've been doing...New semester has started, it's back to school life. And now is the third week of semester two. i'm rather fortunate this sem for having a three-day week. However, hell loads of reports, assignments and presentations are awaiting me and sadly to say, i have a tough module this time round. i guess i should take this opportunity to study harder than previous semester since i'm given two days' off from school.

Still, i always believe in balancing my life; not only study hard, but play hard as well:) That's my motto! My weekends are still as happening as before and i'm glad that i always have my lovely clique as c0mpanions during weekends.

And oya, i'm going to attend my friends' drama play at Alliance Francaise de Singapore this coming saturday! A series of drama plays put up by Ngee Ann Polytechnic Stage Art Group. Excited and looking forward to it. As i start to reminisce back those drama days... ...

i'm contented

i'm glad that most of my weekends are fulfilling ones, with companions of my close friends. Usually, we would try to take some time off to hang out together with one another weekly, if not, perhaps twice a week. As time goes by, it gets harder to find a place where we can explore and search for new novelty and fun...that's b'cause we have been to most places and have tried out many different areas of entertainment and food till we felt that singapore is too small for us to explore. (*laughs*) But still, we would crack our brain to think of places that we've gave it a miss earlier. And guess where we went last weekend?!? =>STEAMBOAT @ BUGIS!<= There's simply a lot of steamboat stalls there for you to choose from. After a short discussion with weikiat, both of us came to a consensus. ln the end, we chose 天天火锅 over the rest of the steamboat stalls. Why so? That's b'cause they have this two-in-one built in steamboat where we can not only steam, but grill our food as well. Most of the others only allow you to steam your food. Grilling is more fun!:)

i had loads of fun with them last weekend. Below are some photos to browse through. i edited with some special effect. i get bored easily, so i was playing around with my powerpoint and coincidentally chanced upon this effect! so coOl...

i love the otahs. Sometimes as we grill, we forgotten to flip over the otah every few minutes, thus, one or two was burnt on the other side. But still, i think otah is one of the best food there apart from our grilled fish and fried mantous. A pity they don't have crabs there. i wanna eat crabs! There aren't a vast variety of food there...no desserts served after meal as well...lnitially our plan was to visit kushinbo, however, it wasn't feasible due to our different schedules, be it at work, at school, or in army. Well, most importantly is the meet-up. i'm just contented as long as i get to meet up with them.

Amidst all our laughters, talks as we were eating our steamboat dinner, we suddenly came up with an idea of filming a video of us in that place. we did so.

That's the final piece of our video. Shall see what the "panel of judges" has to say about the food quality there, and not just that, they're commenting on the services as well...

(This uploading really took me quite some while. Alright, it's finally done!)

The BEST way to get to school is to DRIVE!

Finally for today, i managed to take a friend's ride to school. Always, the morning traffic alone makes it inconvenient for us to travel to school, especially when you imagine squeezing yourself with working adults and students on the train and bus and you will easily lose balance when the bus make a sharp turn or sudden brake. Well, it's much more comfy to drive to school for you have the whole spacious seat to yourself and you get to enjoy aircon and music in your own car! (Better air ventilation, *laughs*) Except for the traffic jam over at kje this morning, but still, deb and me managed to arrive well before lesson starts at 8.30am:) Yeah! And i got the ride from Deb this morning:)

A pity i don't have a family car at home, if not i would plead with dad to let me drive to school everyday! That'll be so GREAT! i guess i would go rent a car soon...hopefully! I have an urge to drive to school...less time consuming and will save on transportation costs as well.

This was taken when she's driving me to school this morning. But not to worry, she's looking at my camera phone only when the traffic light turns red. Definitely not driving and looking at the same time. we've gotten our licence, so we know the danger and consequences of reckless driving, haha...Shall be SAFE DRIVERS!:)

i can't wait to lay my hands on the steering wheel once again...

The COUNTDOWN to 2010

i had countdown with my jc friends on new year's eve itself. Supposed to upload this post a couple of days ago but i was waiting for xinying's photos on facebook. Usually i had countdown together with my family at home, but this year's one was different. i went countdown with some friends and guess where did we go?!? lnitially we wanna go ecp to taunt for the night and in the end, we set our mind on CHANGI AIRPORT for the countdown! It was a funny one 'cause most people would hang out around vivo city or marina bay to see the fireworks during the countdown. As for changi airport, you can only imagine the fireworks (laughs). Or perhaps i should say, see aeroplanes during the countdown. What an interesting one...We spent so much time in finding the viewing mall, hoping we will get to see aeroplanes departing off from changi airport, unfortunately, we walked from terminal 3 to 2 to 1 and didn't manage to find till the place to settle down before the clock strikes twelve. When the minute hand reached twelve exactly, we were still searching for the place and as we walked, we heard the sound system wishing everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Our countdown ended up to be a funny and weird one!

Before the countdown, we had sushi dinner buffet at tanjong pagar! Here are some photos that we took @ sakae sushi restaurant:) OMG! haven't seen them for such a long time!

jiemin and wk have huge eyes!

yummy tasty... (Don't you think so, shimin?)
Shimin appeared so small whereas me and seokhwee appeared so big! Who's the photographer huh? haha...But nice angle shot:)

Last of all, ending this post with a nice photo taken in this sort-of-cave at changi airport terminal three. A pity shimin couldn't join us for the countdown and taunt...
i shall sign off from here...
School starting next week....
