Out on a venture for new hang-out!

Ever had any experience visiting a cosy and comfy entertainment area where you can chill-out with your friends and have unlimited boardgamings during your stay? Not just that, the loads of fun and laughters that you're gonna have there. As you start to reminisce the old childhood days when you played boardgamings with your playmates. These are all good old memories back in the past...well, but it doesn't mean you can't have them back now. Though we are adults-to-be, we can still indulge in all these boardgamings fun and have a whale of time NONE OTHER in DE CODER'S CAFE!!!

In comparison of de coder's cafe with minds cafe, i preferred de coder's cafe to minds. The reason being its so much cheaper and convenient. De coder's cafe is located around clementi area; for those staying around the west side, i believed it should be quite convenient for all. Earlier last sunday, i made my first trip down with sok and wk to de coder's cafe to have our first ever experience there. lt was marvellous! we played games like cluedo, uno stackers, taboo etc...Our favourite games were cluedo and taboo! Taboo is a guessing-word game which is rather challenging. Somehow, the player who is giving the clues to another player who is guessing seemed to be more uptight (*laughs*) There are some little tricks hidden in this taboo game. For example, if you will to pick up a card with the word on it -MASS RAPID TRANSIT, you can say it in a way like (MRT in long form). The player will be able to guess it correctly within the shortest time! Alternatively, if you have this kind of word like "obscure" which is a bit difficult for the player to guess. You can choose to break up the word-form into obs-CURE. You can prompt the player to guess the behind word (-CURE) first and gradually prompt him later to guess the front part which is OUTSWARD BOUND SINGAPORE in short form- "OBS". Afterwhich, ask them to combine the two words together and they will get this final answer right! This is a tactic taught to us by one of the assistant crews there. i just come to realize there's so much hidden tactics and fun behind a simple word-guessing game! Cluedo is one other game which is exciting and challenging. we seemed to have transformed into detectives!

i like the background colour of de coder's cafe! its a mixture of red with black colours:)

Alright, just a short entry here; got to rush off to school for submission of assignments soon!
Finally after 2.30pm later, assignment workloads will be completely off my mind... lts time to concentrate solely on revision.
